I work on the data science team at RichRelevance building machine learning algorithms on top of e-commerce data. My projects have mostly centered around Deep Learning techniques for product recommendation, from the initial coding and data curation steps to production.
> year[2016:2019]
I worked in Brian Hutchinson's lab at WWU and also at PNNL applying neural language models to cyber anomaly
detection.
> year[2015]
Before that I served food to rockstars and their roadies as a back stage caterer at large concerts. I had many fleeting interactions with members of the Foo Fighters, Steely Dan, Slayer, Rush, Sublime, ect... Mostly about food or how to find the stage.
> year[2014:2016]
Before that, I washed dishes at Red Robin :) This was not a fun job, but I learned how restaurants generally operate and got to work with
a diverse range of people with various backgrounds and goals that did not parallel my own.
> year[:2014]
Before that, I tried to make it as an esports journalist. I spent a lot of time in high school interviewing people who played video games for a living, and wrote several articles for a website that would pay me every now and then. I also volunteered a lot at this food bank with my grandparents.

Personal
In my free time I like to travel, play acoustic guitar, and go to local music shows around
Seattle. I spend a lot of time
exploring music.
